MY BIOGRAPHY
Guillaume Jean Lefebvre is a French artist from Lorraine, a historic region in the north east of France, (Vosges) on the border of Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany.The artist, passionate about cinema, photography and drawing, dropped out of school and left his region alone at the age of 17 on January 9, 2008.
In the capital, he chained several odd jobs to live ranging from catering to newspaper sales.
On January 14, 2009 after a year in the French Capital at the age of 18, following a strong depression, the artist found himself in a coma and undergo major surgery following multiple fractures before recovering.
He resumed walking at the Bouffemont center, in the Val D'oise department in Ile de France. After several months of physical therapy, the artist leaves the center and resumed studies in sales and commerce by following correspondence courses while working.
He is discovered in the streets of Chatelet by the casting director David El Hakim due to his original look with bleached hair and bracelets. The director offers him to participate in a nightclub scene in the next film "Les Kairas" aka Gangsta in english by an actor still little known at the time who became a star ... actor Frank Gastambide.
This was the trigger for the artist who decided to restart his passions and to try his chance in castings, in parallel with his studies. He ended up entering the famous Parisian artist agency "l'agence Celine."
In order to keep security, he finished his diploma, and obtained the BEP MRCU. He will then pass the Baccalaureate, still by correspondence.
He will continue with a professional contract where he will end up working in insurance where he was trained and over time will sell various insurance contracts with a service provider for international groups such as AIG, ALLIANZ, BARCLAY and even at the head office of the HSBC bank.
At the same time, the artist continued his passions in art, graphics, acting and as a model. He is seen in various TV shows, artist videos, TV and WEB advertising and as a model.
We see him in particular in the Atol les Opticiens advertisement with the model Adriana Karembeu. Modeled for the show Cousu Main, with the former Jean Paul Gautier Top model Cristina Cordula, the French version of Project Runway to promote clothing brands in catalogs, TV shows such as CCVB on the France 2 channel with the host presenter Stephane Bern and also in the science program E=M6 for an episode as the patient for science analize to describe the human body. Also in various advertisements such as Ecowater, in the west of France in Brittany, a brand created by American businessman and billionaire Warren Buffet or in advertisements to promote condoms and for World AIDS Day to name a few.
Guillaume Jean Lefevre continues to paint and as a graphic designer the « versatile artist in the arts and media » as it is called in certain articles, offers his services as a graphic designer and retouching knowledge in the field of photography for other photographers or artists such as (Florian Hessique , Vincent Hasta, Theo Phan, Phillipe Escalier, etc ...) who uses his retouching work for publications in magazines such as "Entrevue, Sensitive etc" ; TV show "Generation Mannequin" on the NRJ 12 channel or to create theater and TV series posters.
All this while working in insurance. He also helps some production agency and passed the castings to other talents.
In 2014, needing recognition, he no longer wanted to retouch the photos of other photographers and therefore decided to start photography as a photographer.
He does photos for various artists or for the fashion show of director, screenwriter producer and fashion designer Mason Ewing, a recognized blind artist who lives between Paris and Los Angeles.
He then left his position in insurance in 2015, unable to manage everything, and to be able to devote himself solely to his career as an Artist, Actor, Model, Graphic Designer, Painter and Photographer.
In 2017 he left France to settle in New York and start all over again. He learned the English language at the Spanish American Institute School in New York in Times Square.
Now devoted himself solely to photography and painting, he worked frequently with the Sofitel in New York and has photographed for events such as the Tony Awards Watch Party and also for the Renaissance hotel in Times Square as well as various other events and galas.
The artist realizes some art exhibitions and various photos to constitute the portfolio of young artists or other personal realization.
As a painter he participated twice in the Ali Forney Center Gala with exceptional guests such as Jussie Smolett, Lindsay Lohan, Billy Porter etc... Billy Porter dedicated the painting made to his image during the event of 2019 at Cipriani on Wall Street.
The two canvases by artist Guillaume Jean Lefebvre put up for auction raised the sum of $7,000 for the LGBTQ+ association. He also painted a giant painting in the image of the Broadway show Jagged Little Pill in the lobby of the Hotel Sofitel in New York in March 2020 before the COVID pandemic.
Following COVID, the artist adapts and launches into entrepreneurship.
He took advantage of what he learned in insurance and commerce and created his media company made up of a French and American team and published numerous interviews and photos of French and American celebrities every month.

Guillaume Jean Lefebvre then leaves New York for Los Angeles in August 2021 and continues to work and live from his art as a Photographer, Artist and as Business entrepreneur.
